Job Scope
In this role, you will be pivotal in supporting our HR functions, ensuring smooth onboarding and offboarding processes, and contributing to employee life cycle initiatives. You will gain exposure in areas such as HR operations, performance evaluations, and HRIS. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about fostering a supportive and efficient HR environment.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Facilitate smooth onboarding for new hires, including preparation of offer letters and coordinating with the IT department for necessary equipment and accounts.
- Create, manage and maintain employee files and HRIS profiles accurately.
- Collaborate with the HR Team to organize and conduct new employee Inductions.
- Coordinate probation evaluations and assist with the annual performance appraisal process.
- Prepare confirmation and increment letters as guided by the HR Manager.
- Manage the offboarding process efficiently, including preparation of necessary documents and ensuring all resignation formalities are completed.
- Assist in organizing employee engagement activities and events, coordinating with vendors and managing logistics.
- Attend to activities related to the upkeep and maintenance of the HRIS.
- Facilitate employee requests, professionally and in a timely manner.
- Maintain accuracy and quality in all HR documents and reports.
- Uphold confidentiality and adhere to company policies and ethical standards.
- Support the HR Manager with additional tasks as required.
Requirements to Apply
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or HR or equivalent Professional Qualification from a Recognized HR Institute.
- At least 1 year of experience in HR would be preferred – (HR internship experience will be considered).
- Candidates with relevant educational qualifications and no related experience may be considered for an HR Internship position.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Experience in Human Resource Information Systems would be an added advantage.
- Experience handling Recruitments would be an added advantage.
- Exceptional communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
